We will cover all the basics and get you ready to add those special lettered details to your Galentine’s cards. The perfect crafty night out! \nClass includes 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration\, our beginner’s calligraphy kit (two nibs\, black ink pot\, 2 letter guides\, tracing paper and straight pen holder)\, and all materials to write on. Options for returning knitters to learn herringbone\, chevron\, knit/pearl stitches. \n \nChunky knit blankets are all the rage lately and you’ll be surprised how easy they are to make! The hand knitting technique is a life long skill that is therapeutic\, meditative and fun. \n \nNEW: You may now choose your yarn amount! Are you coming just to learn the technique and only want one skein to practice on? We’ve got you! For blanket making\, please view the photo below to see a rough estimate of what a blanket using 4 skeins (standard) looks like\, 5 skeins\, 6 skeins…etc. DISCLAIMER: Final blanket dimensions vary based on each individual’s knitting gauge (ie.\, if you knit tight\, your blanket will be smaller and more compact than someone who knits looser). \n \nTable space diminishes as blankets get larger.
