EVENT: AROUND TOWN BOOK CLUB WITH TCPL

Around Town Book Club is a gathering for book lovers who want to discuss a wide range of books outside the library walls, ages 21+! For this book club, join us at Break Rock Brewing Co., 534 Victory Rd, Quincy, MA.

Rather than read one book, participants are asked to pick one book to fit the theme. The theme for this book club is Classics! Classics are wide-ranging, enduring titles that have something unique to say about the human experience, while also being part of a much broader conversation. Whether an old classic of British literature, a classic in translation, or a more recent American classic, this is your chance to choose one you’ve always meant to read and share it with other literature lovers in a fun, community setting.

Don’t know what to pick? Call us at 617-376-1300 or visit the main library at 40 Washington St. for suggestions – we have a small assortment of classic titles at the desk available for checkout, but you are welcome to choose any title. You can also borrow ebooks and audiobooks on hoopla & Libby with your library card!
