We had a great time hosting our soft openings! They were a big help to get our staff ready for our Thursday March 3rd public opening. More importantly they were an opportunity to thank some folks who helped make all of this possible. Friends, family, investors, contractors, other breweries – the list is long. Let’s talk logo… Our name is a nod to the quarrying history of Quincy. We needed a logo that fit our name and this history, so we turned to @ryanmerrydesign Ryan used a photo from the @quincyquarryandgraniteworkers museum for inspiration. The picture (shown above) is of a pneumatic star drill. This drill was used to split and remove large sections of bed rock. In the drill holes, feathers and wedges were inserted and hammered to split the massive pieces. We love that our logo looks great and ties back to the rich history of Quincy! We hope you like it!
