WOLLASTON RICE LAGER 5.2% ABV
Our latest release in partnership with Quincy Is Everything, this lager pours golden and has a super light, refreshing body. Why is it called a Rice Lager? We used rice in the brewing process which helps provide that clean and crisp body we were looking for here. We also utilized sake yeast in fermentation, resulting in some beautiful but not overpowering lemon and fruit notes.
The QIE beer series aims to develop a beer and label for each unique neighborhood of the Granite City, while raising funds for local charities. This label features the late, great Wollaston Theater which served as the gathering place and heart of Wollaston for decades. Cheers to the incomparable Kerry MacHugh @kerrymachughdesign for bringing yet another beautiful label to life!
A portion of the proceeds will benefit QCARE – a Quincy-based after-school program. QCARE’s carefully crafted programs provide a safe and enjoyable setting for school-aged children to build friendships, play games and sports, work on homework, and engage in a variety of creative projects and enriching activities.
