As the stunning Marina Bay sun sets on a busy and fun 2nd Anniversary week for Break Rock Brewing, we just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for your unwavering support of our little dream. To our guests, who continue to choose to visit and support Break Rock when faced with a myriad of other options. To the City of Quincy and its residents, who have been nothing but welcoming and supportive. To our peer breweries on the South Shore and beyond who not only push us to be better by raising the bar, day in and day out but have also lent a hand or advice on more occasions than we can count. To our staff, many of whom have been with us since day one and continue to show up and show out. To our friends and family, who have sacrificed time and time again to make this journey possible. To every one of these folks and the ones we most certainly forgot, all we can offer is our most sincere thank you and a promise to keep trying to put our best foot forward each day. The truth is…running a small business is hard. Every day has a tendency to present a new challenge. But it’s also a hell of a lot of fun and we wouldn’t change a thing! We are looking to add some talented and fun people to our team! Spread the word! EVENT STAFF – interested in making some cash on the side? We are looking for staff who are outgoing and reliable and can help us out with off-site events such as tastings, festivals, and pop-up beer gardens! Experience is not required. No minimum amount of hours/shifts are required. You can pick up gigs as they fit your schedule! PART-TIME BARTENDERS (10-25 hours/wk) – Like talking to people? Enjoy working by the water? The summer average for staff with at least one weekend day worked in 2023 was $45-53/hr. Not too shabby for pouring beers! Never bartended? Not a disqualifier. Send us your resume. LEAD BARTENDER (30-40 hours/wk) – we are looking for at least one reliable lead to join our team. The same tips with a higher per-hour base. Our lead bartenders help keep things on the rails, ensure SOPs and opening/closing tasks are done, etc. If you are interested, please send your resume to [email protected]. Well… “That’s just our game.” IYKYK Introducing our 2nd Anniversary brew – “I’m Your Huckleberry” – a 5% ABV Grisette Fruited with Huckleberry. Limited release on draft and in cans to-go beginning at 4pm today! Also pictured and available for sale is our limited-run stub-footed 2nd Anniversary glass featuring our dive helmet art. These are available in the taproom only! This beer pours a deep straw color with a nice frothy head. True to its Belgian Hainaut province origins, it casts classic farmhouse ale vibes. Meduim-light in body. On the nose, you’ll get a gentle spice, herbs, citrus, and the faint sweetness of huckleberry. The beer is dry and refreshing with a slight tartness balanced out by a delicate background of huckleberry that rolls over your palate while you enjoy each sip. A perfect food pairing beer! At a manageable 5%, it won’t gun you down. Brewed with love, we hope you enjoy it! From the bottom of our hearts, we want to thank you for your support to date. BEER RELEASE North Quincy – Copper Ale – 5.2% We’re heading “Up the Downs” to celebrate North Quincy with our latest neighborhood beer brewed in partnership with Quincy Is Everything! From the shores of the mighty Neponset and along the well-worn tracks of the Red Line, North Quincy has grown from marshland to military training grounds to now, a hub of activity, cultural melting pot, and home to a criminally underrated food scene. This Copper Ale pours a very pretty copper & marmalade color. It presents a balanced profile – slightly malt-forward paired with earthy hops and rounded bitterness. You might catch enjoyable notes of raisins and sweet bread on the nose. This beer would be great for many different food pairings. Available starting at 4 pm today on draft and cans to-go in our Marina Bay taproom. Also available at select stores locally. Grabs some now before it’s gone! A portion of proceeds to benefit a local non-profit, the Quincy City Club. FRIDAY @ BRB. NEW BEER + TACOS + LIVE MUSIC! BEER RELEASE! Alaus! (Ah-louse) Lithuinaian Pale Ale – 5.5% – Draft and Cans To-Go Our Head Brewer/Co-Owner Vilija is a proud Lithuanian American. Lithuanians around the world raise a celebratory pint on February 16th to mark their Independence Restoration Day! We brewed this beer to celebrate with them! This pale ale was fermented with a proprietary Lithuanian yeast strain resulting in a potent mix of aromas and flavors including smarties candy, passionfruit, orange, and guava accompanied by faint spice of rye that was included in the mash. LEGACY LIVE MUSIC SERIES FEATURING THE BOSSTOWN HEAVY Join the Bosstown Heavy, @quincycannaco and it’s partners for a night of chill vibes and great music!
