That’s a wrap on our soft openings. What a fun couple of days! Great to host our friends, families, vendors, industry folks and others to enjoy a beer and some great food from @libertytavernquincy. Thanks to our friends @hawk.visuals for capturing all of it! We are pushing forward to our public opening this Thursday 3/3 from 12pm – 10pm and we cannot wait to see you in the taproom! Let’s talk logo… Our name is a nod to the quarrying history of Quincy. We needed a logo that fit our name and this history, so we turned to @ryanmerrydesign Ryan used a photo from the @quincyquarryandgraniteworkers museum for inspiration. The picture (shown above) is of a pneumatic star drill. This drill was used to split and remove large sections of bed rock. In the drill holes, feathers and wedges were inserted and hammered to split the massive pieces. We love that our logo looks great and ties back to the rich history of Quincy! We hope you like it!
